Guizhou's tea industry flourishes in global market｜贵州 “干净黔茶”瞄向国际市场

Since 2007, Southwest China's Guizhou province has increased its investment in the development of the tea industry. By 2023, the tea plantation area in the province stabilized at 7 million mu (466,666.67 hectares), with a tea output of 469,000 metric tons and an output value of 64.38 billion yuan ($8.99 billion).

2007年以来，贵州省加大对茶产业发展投入力度，实施茶叶提速工程。到2023年，全省茶园面积稳定在700万亩，茶叶产量46.9万吨，产值643.8亿元，同比分别增长3.3%和6.1%。

With the development of the Belt and Road, Guizhou's tea exports have been increasing, and tea enterprises exploring overseas markets are emerging. So far, 638,000 mu of export-recorded tea bases have been established. Guizhou also has 54 export-oriented tea production companies with a production capacity of 20,000 tons.

随着“一带一路”全球化战略发展、贵州茶叶出口易能力持续上升、开拓海外市场的茶企不断涌现，茶叶出口贸易得到迅速发展。目前已建成出口备案茶叶基地63.8万亩，出口茶生产企业54家，产能2万吨。

Tea has become the province's largest exported agricultural product. In 2023, Guizhou ranked ninth among China's provinces in tea exports, with an average export price of $16.9 per kilogram.

2023年，在世界经济复苏乏力、全球贸易回暖速度缓慢等不利背景下，贵州顶住外贸压力，茶叶出口位列我国茶叶出口省份前十位，出口量排名继续上升，由2022年的第十位上升至第九位，且出口均价达到16.9美元/千克，居全国第一。

In May of this year, the Guizhou Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs hosted a training session on the export of agricultural products. Experts from related government departments and organizations talked about the challenges and opportunities faced by Guizhou's tea exports, international market laws and regulations, trade barriers, export enterprise qualifications, and foreign trade taxation.

年5月，省农业农村厅专门开办了2024年全省农产出口贸易工作（茶叶）培训班，来自省农业农村厅、省税务局、贵阳海关、香港贸发局、省绿茶品牌发展促进会等单位的相关负责人和相关领域专家，围绕我省茶叶出口面临的挑战和机遇、国际市场法律法规、贸易壁垒、出口企业资质备案、外贸税务等内容进行了重点解读和指导，以帮助企业精准避险、破解国际技术壁垒。

By helping enterprises avoid risks and overcome international technological barriers, Guizhou achieved "zero notifications, zero return shipments" in tea exports in 2023.

数据显示，2023年贵州省茶叶出口实现了“零通报、零退运”。
